Kristy Lynn Allgeyer

Kristy was born and raised in a small Southeastern Missouri town named Benton. As the last of eight children she learned at a young age the importance of having Christ in her life. Her parents, Gregory and Mary Louise raised their children across the field from St. Denis Catholic Church. Mary Louise was a joy-filled mother who taught her children the true meaning of love more through her actions than her words.

Kristy's favorite hobby has always been art. She graduated from the University of Missouri with a degree in Physical Therapy. Through the support of now Bishop Robert Hermann, she followed her heart and began ministering to teenagers alongside her husband, Steve. They started the LIFE TEEN program at Incarnate Word Catholic Church, where they were married in December 1995. Kristy is now a full-time mother of four beautiful children, Abby, Jacob, Tess, and Isabella, who inspire her to connect to her mother's wisdom and love daily.

Throughout Kristy's life, her faith and love for Christ has steered her through the loss of her mother, Mary; and her two stillborn children, Jeremiah and Mary. The love of her husband, her families, and her close friends have shaped her into the woman of God that she is today.

Following is a letter from Kristy's mother, Mary Louise Scherer that resides in Kristy's Bible and is the inspiration behind Mary's Little Girl Productions:

Of everything I've ever done in my life,
raising a wonderful daughter like you
is one of the things I'm proudest of.
And if I never accomplish anything else at all,
I will still look at the special,
caring person you are and know I've done something wonderful for the world.

A note to let you know I love you and am thinking of you. Hope you had a good week. I'm very proud of what you are working for and are doing. You work very hard for your goal in life & it will all come true one day. Just hang in there & know I'm behind you 100%.
